The CIRCLE will be linked through the Internet to like-minded individuals, groups and relevant resource collections around the country and the world. At a given time, the facilities available at a mature CIRCLE set-up may include:
- print and multi-media library
- toy and game library
- a maths lab
- grassroots science lab using local materials and low cost equipment
- Internet access kiosks
- copying and lending facilities
- message & photo wall / wall newspaper reflecting recent events
- free expression corner
- community art gallery
The centre will also provide the community with learning experiences through regular events on a range of themes including:
- workshops for children, parents, teachers and alumni
- film & TV club for critical media viewing and discussion
- cultural activities like writing, art,craft, music, dance, story telling, theatre
- counseling
From time to time, the CIRCLE could organise special events including:
- environmental outings and camps
- film festivals
- sports events
- vocational guidance seminars
