There are various ways that people have been attached to Comet: full-time, part-time, freelancing, project basis, volunteering or through internships. We are looking to link up with people who are committed to education and passionate about communicating their ideas and work.

Volunteer / Intern

A number of film and design students have interned with us and produced quality work in the short period that they were here. The churning of fresh ideas and insights always helps the organisation focus its goals or review them in the light of a new pair of eyes. For an exposure to the field of media and development work or media and alternative education, get in touch with us for internship opportunities.

Work with us

Throughout the year, we are open to proposals for collaboration from individuals and organisations within the broad sphere of subjects at the interstices of science, technology and society. These could be projects in the field of filmmaking, education, free software or any other work related to Comet's vision and values.

Partner

If you see possibilities for your organization and ours to work together towards a mutually beneficial goal, do get in touch. For example if you are working in a community based project and you feel your experience should be disseminated to like minded people, we could do a film for you. Those with ideas for learning objects could come to us to get their products, such as toys, games, puzzles etc. developed.

Contribute in kind

If you have resources which are lying idle i.e. office space, cameras, computer systems, furniture, unused stationery etc. please do let us know.

Donate

We welcome donations to Comet and sponsorships for specific programmes. Please get in touch if you wish to support our activities or would like to help initiate new projects. We have the required registrations with the Income Tax authorities and the Home Ministry of the Government of India.
